batting for quilts
@ 2008-05-11 – 16:03:59
Preparation for batting:
1. put water in tub of washing machine.
2. push the batting down with your hands until it has begun to absorb water and let it sit for 10 minutes. If your machine has a door at the front ( UK style) and not at the top like in America try this process in your bath!
3. now to the machine! Advance your machine to the spin cicle and let the water drain and spin out. DO NOT AGITATE OR THE BATTING WILL BE STUFFING!
4. now throw it in your tumble dryer fot 10 to 30 minutes, until dry.
5. Open your batting flat on a clean floor or large table, make sure it lays flat.
6. Forget it and tomorrow morning you will have wrinkles free batting with well behaved fibres and in its real size ready for basting!Keep visiting and find more tips and tricks for professional look quilts!

Strive for excellence.Once I was reading about the guiding principles of a restaurant in America. It's the reason for their success! I couldn't agree more, and you? I will try to find more clever guiding principles, when I find one I make sure I post in our blog! Whenever you find any interesting guiding principles please remember to post it too!! kew much, kew much ( this is how my 2 years-old girl thanks people!)
